Sr Boys Bball: Pre-season questions and TeamSnap

We’re getting set to begin our basketball season once volleyball wraps up. However, with all of the chaos around the school–from construction, to no Fridays, to whatever–I keep getting asked the same organizational questions.

When do practices start?

Practices won’t start until after the Sr Boys Vball team is statistically eliminated from Provincials contention.

Are we in any tournaments?

You bet. As of now we intend to appear in the following tournaments:

-Daysland Icebreaker

-OLMP Royal Rumble

-Forestburg Invitational

-Bashaw Invitational

-Bentley Invitational

When do league games start?

Couldn’t tell you. Usually the first week of December. We will find out mid-November.

What’s our “home” uniform?

Once again we will be wearing Grey as our home colour.

What’s our “away” uniform?

Our new black uniforms will serve as our away attire. Our old alternates will be donated to Handball.

Where can I find all the important game information that I need?

You have two choices. First is on this website under the Rebels tab or by searching basketball.

Secondly, I’ve set up a TeamSnap and invited all players to join via their school email. Parents/guardians are welcome to email me and I will add their information to their student-athlete’s profile.

How much are fees?

The fee schedule has set this year’s fees at $346.87. Fees will not be in excess of this number but could come down prior to the start of the season. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds should there be a fee change midway through the season. As such, once fees are finalized, they are set at that price.

What if I have other questions right now?

Email is the best bet. Either myself or Coach Schulte can assist. However, as we are out of season right now, we won’t have as much information as may be desired.
