Pursuant to the Alberta Human Rights Act, I have sent notice home to parents that sexual health instruction will begin January 10th, 2017 in CALM.
Two outcomes–P11 and P12, found here–specifically deal with sexual wellness, sexual choices, and the ramifications of sexual activity. Abstinence is mandated to be taught along with other alternatives including contraceptives.
