Hockey nationalism (and the Richard Riot) – The Hockey Sweater (either read it or watch an adaptation such as this one)

The Oka Crisis (CBC archives for contemporary videos)

The Great Flag Debate (Article 1, Article 2, Global coverage of the anniversary of the flag)

AFTER READING/WATCHING/ANNOTATING FOR A CATEGORY CHECK IN WITH THE GUEST TEACHER FOR A BRIEF DISCUSSION. YOU WILL DO THIS FOUR TIMES.
